With this magazine, the main challenge was defining a distinct identity that would tell itself apart from other competing publications. As travel magazines are ubiquitous, good content by itself would not be enough to differentiate our work.
To stand out from other magazines, 'Explor' took on a vibrant 3-color paletter which includes black, white, and yellow. The masthead logo is a signature feature of the magazine, hiding an arrow symbol in between letters. This arrow would also become a strong visual motif that flows through the magazine.
